Stop by the new Fitness Center

The summer is a great workout time because there isn’t near as many people using the facility.  Just about any time of the day, you can get a treadmill directly in front of a TV, and tune into your favorite TV show!

We also have three classes which you can sign up for. Pilates is on Tuesdays from 7 – 8 PM, and Spin classes are held on Mondays and Thursdays from 3 – 4 PM. If you are looking for a total body workout, then the Boot Camp class is just what the doctor ordered. This class is more frequent but you do not need to come every day. Boot Camp runs from 7 – 8 PM on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. More details about the classes and instructors can be found on the Classes & Schedules page.

Some people may love the summer heat while others may hate it. If you are one who enjoys the hot temperatures, please make sure to stay well hydrated and in the shade as much as possible. Late evening or early mornings may be good times to workout outside and avoid the high temp of the day. If you can’t stand running in the heat then  look no further. The brand new indoor track is also a great place for a nice cool run. Don’t fool yourself, you better still break a sweat!
